Lol, in private jobs as an employee of MNC, let me confirm, my income is 19LPA, work from home, if i wish to go to office ever I go or noone asks me to come to office daily, if I go, they give pickup and drop on door step, pets allowed in office for care, kids allowed in office as office has baby care, and definitely amazing hikes without clearing any exams. And i can keep switching companies to increase salay at any point of time. Where as in govt jobs, you have to go to office daily, no facilities, just that minimal pension, you cant ever change your job ๐ I know atleast 6 to 7 people who left govt job (SBI, BOI) and joined in HSBC

Another reason is gov. Job holders are mostly belong to lower middle class, they have various other responsibilities.
There is no competition for growth and pressure of survival stability & maintaining the position in government job so they don't work on personal appearance. But in a private job, you always need to work on your personality and personal growth & your personal brand value so that you can grow more and your position will be more stable. At least there is an enthusiasm to get ready for your work on a daily basis, but in a government job, you become cold and boring because your job and position is safe.
