It’s been a bittersweet holiday season for the people of Jasper, Alberta. Five months after a wildfire tore through the mountain town, the clean up is still underway.
It’ll take years to fully recover, but business owners don’t have that kind of time.

Reading articles about jasper rebuilding is hard to believe that its logistics that is slowing then down because there is trains coming into the town on a daily basis, so as I traveled there today they have many employees shack set up, but never seen one worker or anything going on. Very puzzling to say the least
I hope they will be to busy fighting MASSIVE FOREST fires along the border to worry about it this summer.

My band went on tour last summer and we drove through Jasper heading east.
Literally a few days later we are sitting in a restaurant I think in Ontario somewhere and see on the news that Jasper burned down. It was surreal.
Here's hoping insurance companies don't mess around (who am I kidding, we need more Luigi's in this world).
