A technician is a Group-C grade employee who is appointed under Senior Section Engineer or Junior Engineer. Candidates with intermediate (10+2.) qualifications can apply for the Technician. The exams for RRB ALP and RRB Technician are usually held together. The candidate after clearing the written exam by RRB undergoes 1-year training. The RRB Technician Grade Pay is 1900 and Basic pay is 19900+HRA (House rent allowance) +TA (traffic allowance) +DA (dearness allowance) + DA on TA+ technical allowance+ others.
