why can't California set up a separate water facility to use ocean water to fight these types of fires, rather than using an already short supply of drinking water? Or would it be too costly to change over to only pumping ocean water to the fire hydrants? Now relax, this is only a question, it is not a dumb question!

People need to stop building trashy old wooden homes like if were in the age of George Washington and start building all concrete homes like the people in the tropical regions.
Some people with million dollar homes and to me those homes are trash made of sticks compared to a smaller concrete tough home. The fire may burn what's inside a concrete home but it's not going anywhere. Concrete does not melt and the roof ain't gonna burn down from embers either.
And what's crazy is that they rebuild those homes out of wood AGAIN! So in the future, those homes will be taken by the next victims. SMH. Why all yall U.S. people so stubborn!?

The Mayor was mostly in Africa while this firestorm was happening, The Mayor cutoff the Fire Department Budget few years prior plus a new $18M cut 2 months ago, the city just laid off 100+ firefighters due to socio-political agenda, the Fire department focused on DEI instead of how to make the job better, they recently demolished the Water Reservoir to appease some chiefs in the desert, omfg, shall i go on?

I’ve always enjoyed camping, but I never thought the Jackery would come in handy at home. After experiencing wildfires, I decided to keep it as an emergency backup.
Every time I see reports of California wildfires, I think back to our own experience. We lost power during the fire last year, and the Jackery generator kept us connected and powered, helping us stay up to date with news.
I was caught off guard by a flash flood that knocked out the power for hours. Thankfully, I had my Jackery solar generator with me, and it allowed me to power my phone, light up the house, and keep up with news.
Watching the fires unfold on the news was heartbreaking. My sister lives near Malibu, and she said having a Jackery during the evacuation was a small comfort in such chaos. It’s amazing how something so simple can be so helpful.
