  1. This is why people outside of USA make fun of Americans. These people are way too full of themselves. They think no other country or people exist outside of the USA. Bro, get yourself mentally checked out and try to travel outside of US once in your life!

  2. As an American it is so sad how we have such a closed off mind towards the rest of the world. Like there is no genuine way that any American can possibly think they are remotely close to being as popular around the world as Messi is… Those guys play a WORLD WIDE sport, and i am not even a huge fan of it, (i watch premier league every now and then) cause i do prefer to watch American sports. But our sports are not even in the same realm of popularity as Football.

  3. The name « Leo » or « Lionel » experienced an increase of 4000% in Catalonia, Spain. And it also moved up 283 spots on the US BabyCenter popularity list since Messi’s move to Inter Miami in 2023. Dont even ask about Argentina because people there are naming their babies Messi as first name 😂. Some people in the US dont realise how big Messi was since he was a teenager. Americans never experienced such unplayable athlete, it was like Usain Bolt racing 13 years olds, but not in a boring way, football is more complicated than that, we were witnessing a genius humbling the top professionals, managers built tactics against him but he always figure it out.

  4. Ok who let Stephen A talk about Messi and soccer? He should stick to nba 🏀 and nfl 🏈, don’t let him come near soccer and the goat Messi it’s not his place he is just gonna make once again a fool out of himself

  5. Interesting that what Messi (the best player of all time of modern football era) is doing to USA is what Pelé (the best player of all time of the old football era) also did to USA in the past. Both went to USA to play for a USA team. Messi in Florida's Inter Miami and Pelé in New York's Cosmos. Pelé was the one who back then popularized the "soccer sport" in the USA, and made a lot of fans there, in the same way Messi is doing now. There is even a Pelé store in New York's Times Square and Messi is being part of many ads.
