There was a fourth night of protests in Georgia over the ruling party’s decision to suspend accession talks with the European Union.

Tens of thousands of Georgians protested on the streets of several cities.

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said demonstrators had fallen victim to opposition lies and rejected calls for new elections.

  1. 美国这帮蠢货又在搞事情,格鲁吉亚需要的是中立,不加入任何一方。加入欧盟或者俄罗斯,都有可能发生战争,保持中立才是最佳选择。北约这帮蠢货又想把这个国家变成乌克兰。

  2. 2014 Ukraine
    Nothing familiar here 😂
    Nothing to see here
People have a memory the size of a penut 🍷
Cheers to this new version of democracy
But they only update you on the new rules after they break the old ones and so you will never ever experience what democracy was and is

  3. All these protesters (members of NGOs paid by washington) will lead georgia to another ukraine. Stay georgian stay free dont get slave of eu usa. Don't do like the european countries

  4. Georgia has been tricked by an Oligarch and by his pigs!!!! People are furious not only for suspension of EU membership but because of falsified recent elections!!! People are demanding illegal government to re-appoint new elections!!!

  5. Look at those dirty "insurectionists." Too bad american's in the USA don't seem to understand how to protest the government and insist on voting in any change 😂. Wish stories like this and protests in France were more heavily reported in the USA to teach american's how to deal with a corrupt government that no longer serves its people.

  6. BBC, you talk only about 21 injured policemen, who are fully equipped and might only have some scratches, you don’t talk about thousands of protesters who actually are wounded, beaten by police, poisoned because of gas, terrorized, wet in the middle of winter, their eyes are swollen Because of pepper spray and arrested without any explanation. You aren’t fear with this comments. Do better!!

  7. I am not pro Russian or pro Georgian. just a thought though… maybe the government isn't pursuing the EU because last time a country like Georgia joined the EU, Russia went to war with them. idk enough about this topic though.
