Am I wrong for thinking that this is super cool and exciting?
The problem is that , even if they protect what's left of the rainforest. it's still not enough. It would be like trying to fit South America or Mexicos entire human population in an area as big as Columbia.
1 day soon the planet will die because of humans and to much population
1800 gallons of water to produce 1 lb of meat.
Ugh same old same old
personally, i think the pandemic gave us some time… maybe just a few years which is negligible in the grand scheme of things
P r o p a g a n d a
Even if we had Zero emmisions, we’d still die, because food will run out
have more kids they say lmao
Human greed will eventually wipe out the planet
Yah right
Capitalism is the Cancer of the Planet that is eating itself
1.5 billion sustainable anything after that we are overpopulated. 539,000 proper population. After the big rock hits around 62 maybe we will wise up. 87% of life will be gone.
I'm life. Don't break my peace
overpopulation isn’t a concern in the scientific community… not anymore… mistakes are made, corrections too!
Edit: again, there ain’t too many of us, it’s just that 1/3 of us is consuming too much while the other 2/3 are trying to catch up with us…. capitalism is destroying nature, not overpopulation!
We all love our mothers, so why not Mother Earth, the Great Mother of All?
We humans evolved from apes and became the most successful species in the animal kingdom. Our Earth is in a balance. The Amazon Rainforest is responsible for absorbing all the moisture and carbon dioxide on Earth. In fact, 20% of Earth’s oxygen comes from the Amazon. The Arctic is responsible for reflecting the Sun’s rays back into space while the ocean is responsible for absorbing the Sun’s heat. If the Amazon keeps getting cut down, more carbon dioxide will be in the air, making the Earth hotter, causing the Arctic to melt faster than usual. Permafrost will melt and release methane, which can trap more heat than carbon dioxide. If the Arctic melts, many coastal areas and islands will be flooded. And the ocean won’t be able to absorb all that heat as it warms up, causing corals to bleach. This has caused climate change which has affected many animals around the world, and it won’t be long until it affects us too. The weather will also become more unpredictable. Pretty soon all life on earth will be extinct, including us. And Earth will become just as lifeless as all the planets in our solar system. 99.9% of all life on Earth have gone extinct during Earth’s creation 4.6 billion years ago. We’ve been responsible for many animal extinctions, but eventually we’ll be the ones joining them if this keeps up. And we’ll be facing another mass extinction unless we do something about it. And we have to do it as soon as possible before it’s too late.
Many people in this comment section do not understand science and research
Stop lying to people
Fake News
People often believe humans will advance to a point where its the common sci fi world.
Me? I think we'd all be dead long before that.
A good thing is though that Earth will survive, and it will breathe an enormous sigh of relief that we're finally gone.
Planting tomatoes eggplants peppers etc (warmth lovers) near brick block concrete etc absorb heat then radiates back to plants
Stop eating meat
It's is flabbergasting how we discuss and describe this mass extinction without including ourselves.
We already know you're a bunch of corrupt liars so it's your lie Tell like you want it
That's why I'm so relieved when I'm hearing about fertility rates are going down. We need our numbers to go down and new means of energy production.
Hurry along children,if 2 years ago you could see now, hurry children, the quiet earth is coming….
Drive on the hwy for 100s, 1000s of miles and all you see is land!! and the grizzlies left Cali because they couldn't afford the high taxes or the crazy home prices !!
The answer is actually pretty simple – don't have kids. We are the problem, but we keep reproducing. We put our own desire to have a family above all else because we either want to, the government manipulates us to think we have to for economic reasons, or we see it as a human right while, at the same time, we cry and say 'something must be done'. We blame deforestation; we blame plastics, we blame fossil fuels, but here's a reality check: we cut the forest down because WE need more space to live and house all those kids people keep having; WE switched to plastics to stop deforestation but plastic killed the animals, so people are back to promoting paper-based recyclables; fossil fuels are only mined and burnt for fuel for OUR purposes. We are a cancer on this planet, and we keep multiplying on this planet like one too – literally destroying our host. I'm not saying that not having kids will stem the issues, but it will eventually make a big impact if more people don't.
We are the destroyer of worlds.
Thank you all for seeing more than what meets the eye🙏🙏🙏
You Two are Beautiful ❤Thank you for ALL YOUR HARD WORK❤ WE NEED TO ENLIGHTEN THE WORLD FOR THE 🌎 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

The Treaty With Mother Earth.
The Preamble.
We, the signatories to the Treaty, hereby state that the following treaty that we are entering into with our planet Earth on the 10th day of August in the year 2012, will be binding upon us and all of our descendants. The sole purpose of the treaty is to empower the common person to save our planet Earth and to continue our survival as a species for future generations. The treaty will combine our collective voices …to force the governments of the world to do what is vital to save our planet Earth and us. The organization born from this treaty will be known, from this day forward as the W.O.R.D.
The Declarations.
We, the signatories to the treaty with planet Earth, hereby state that the following declarations are binding to us all and only changeable upon the event of a new treaty being made and signed by all the signatories of this original treaty, unless they are deceased.
1. From this day forth we will lobby all levels of our individual countries Governments to legislate acts of parliament or pass local bi laws that will,
(a) Abolish industrial and combustion engine pollution by abolishing the use all of fossil fuels.
(b) Abolish all products waste by enforcing the standard of all products be reusable or recyclable.
(c) Abolish the use of pesticides, insecticides and all forms of carcinogenic chemicals.
(d) Abolish the dumping of all wastes in the waterways and soils of the planet.
(e) Abolish the harvesting of native trees in all forest areas.
(f) Enforce the strict control, equal sharing of and sustainable usage of all foods.
(g) Enforce the strict control, equal sharing of and sustainable usage of all land.
(h) Enforce the strict control, equal sharing of and sustainable usage of all resources.
(i) Enforce the strict control of sustainable population growth.
2. We, the signatories to this treaty, on an individual level, do solemnly promise to
Love all living creation.
Do to all living creation the things we would have them do to us.
See all living creation as part of each one of us.
Do all our work for the benefit of all creation.
Nurture and harmonize with all living creation.
Follow a simplistic lifestyle and live in harmony with nature.
The Consequences:
If we do not fully and truly follow the treaty we sign today, the 10th day of August in the year 2012, with the planet Earth, then the only scenario that can happen is the destruction of our planet and us. We must ensure that all governments all over the world will follow this treaty as we will do. We are all here to protect, comfort and care for this entire world and all that exists on it. This world, and all that is on it, is a gift, our garden of physical life. Without our world of nature, we have no life.
