Ukrainian forces have launched a new offensive in Russia’s Kursk region, according to the office of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Ukrainian troops have occupied Russian soil since August, when they first entered the Kursk region, and have resisted efforts to expel them. Russian media, citing the country’s Defense Ministry, say their troops have so far repelled these latest Ukrainian advances.

  1. Biden (USA), Macron (France), Trudeau (Canada) and Keir Starmer (England) were the purchases. hahahaha. Sanctions are to stop the development of other countries.
US increases imports of aircraft components from Russia to highest volume since 2022
The most demanded elements for aerial assets in the USA were chassis and their parts, US$6.97 million (R$42.5 million), and other parts for planes, helicopters or drones, US$586.1 thousand (R$3 .58 million).
The main suppliers of components to the US in November were the United Kingdom with US$281 million (R$1.7 billion), France with US$195 million (R$1.19 billion) and Canada with US$146 million ( R$891 million).

  3. There are still Ukrainians and they are not paying in other currencies than lives. Goal of a "free" Ukraine has not yet been achieved. USA proclaimed "until the last…" & "as long as it takes" so NATO keep pushing towards their "Final Solution".

  4. Its funny how in the map the entire Kursk oblast is highlighted while
the ukrainian forces are actually only occupy a small fraction of it that
    also continously shrinks.
Anyway,i doubt that this was a offensive. Probably we see that in another
part of the frontline. I guess the NPP in the south the russian army hold
would be a high value target.

  5. Just a quick update for everyone. The skirmish is already over; the Ukrainian forces were completely defeated, and dozens of armored vehicles were destroyed, feel free to search for footage. Let's see if DW will report it at all, let alone ecstatically as this.

  6. We still have a Wartime Economy even if we did cut it by half because we still spend more then everyone combined. Litterally we never gave up our wartime economy completly at all.

  7. Kursk has been a huge waste of scarce Ukrainian manpower. The territory is mostly empty farmland of no strategic value and ties up troops desperately needed in the east.

  8. In the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military has lost a total 485 troops, ten tanks, seven infantry fighting vehicles, five armored personnel carriers, an artillery gun, an electronic warfare system and multiple other vehicles in Kursk Region, t

  9. Peace is a million times better than war.
Why no peace between Russia and it's neighbour and cousins in Ukraine?
A lost generation because of this war, while the rest of the World advances and enjoys life.
    Really sad.

  10. How can you say that Russian military bloggers were talking about this attack then in the same sentence say that the Russians were not aware of the offensive? Is there a disconnect between the brain and the mouth?

  11. …. Putin can just delay negotiations , why negotiate ? Russia is advancing. Europe still has money to give n their economy is not plummeting yet. Delay d negotiation = more territories. Odessa??

  12. The first Kursk surprise worked but now Russia has lots of troops in Kursk this will be costly or it maybe is a tactical counter attack with a chance to inflict damage but no great territorial gains. Anyway lets see what unfolds but do not expect much change in this one.

  13. by evening it became clear that the Ukrainians had lost more than 30 units of military equipment, a huge number of soldiers… they had achieved nothing… and in the same region the Russian army had forced them out of other positions… As always, the clown President Zelensky only knows how to do PR campaigns… it's true that Ukrainian soldiers are dying… but that's not scary – they're not his children
