First how much women cricketer contribution to BCCI, women cricketer are big liability they begged for joining with BCCI. When BCCI was in a poor conditions they didn't approach for merger, once BCCI became rich only women cricket association merged with BCCI. Women cricketer are parasites
BCCI earns more than 90% of its revenue through MEN CRICKET MATCHES through their huge viewerships and ads.
Logically those who work hard to create that effect (the men) should be paid more.
Paying equal wages to male and female team is shameless and discriminatory decision.
I think it's a good move cause, more girls will be interested to make it to the top and with increase of competition, skill levels may also increase and there will be better entertainment. Doesn't mean it's not good now, but there is chance for it to get better becoz of this.
Money generated from women's cricket is not even 10% of that of men's cricket but they want same salary ๐
Even they are getting to play from men's cricket revenue earned by bcci in the name of gender equality… If they want to get paid the same then why don't they do the earnings same?
Even under 16 is also better than watching Female cricket. They also play cricket at better quality and can engage audience based on their skills not by showing sexuality and attracting few audience which female mostly do ๐
