This weapon was originally developed over 20 years ago in Australia. Australia's version could fire a million rounds a minute; China sits at about 450k a minute so… not even close, lol. They did try to buy it, the inventor turned them down. So of course China just straight up stole the IP and tried to recreate it themselves. Looks like that's working out as well for them as their "aircraft carriers", lol!

Metal Storm was marketed to the US military about 10 years ago but rejected because it's impractical/useless.
