All those problems coud be fixed by funding schools regularly and equally, getting rid of behaviourist ideas of punishment and pleasure like grading and making schools democratic for teachers and students whilst also giving money to parents who keep their kids in school like lula de silvas bolso familia.
Yeah, that’s why there are American school districts with 6% literacy rates. Because the kids are learning almost everything they need to know at home. They should just send the teaching curriculum to parents and cut out the middleman of the schools. That way we know exactly who’s fault it is that most of the cities children can’t read. No more parents blaming the schools and schools blaming the parents. No one’s learning anything anyways why make them go to a second location. Just send a book of what they should’ve learned if they or anyone actually cared about it. And then send a social worker out to slowly explain it using small words to everybody because nobody in the house can f*cking Read. Of course the social worker would have to be from another city or a different state probably.

This shifting from public schools to private schools is happening around the globe. In our state the Government is damn corrupted. As a result public schools dont get teachers, environment and theyare becoming extinct.

I realize that this debate was 3 years ago however, Many said on this debate forum that they would throw money at the problem. This is the same go to solution for all things the government deals with. The problem lies with the quality of the teacher and the fact that those who can do something really well aren't teaching. The people teaching are those who can't do it well so it isn't about salaries it's about quality. Then the second problem is that unionized teacher unions are not concerned about the fact that Johnny can't read or do math They are more concerned about protecting teachers that can't teach and getting the union dues that they collect from these teachers. Bad teachers simply don't get fired, so throwing money at it simply doesn't fix the problem and these substandard teachers continue to teach. There is no incentive to make teaching a career that people want to do, so all you get is substandard teachers who turn out a substandard product.

Public education has been falling for years, choice is a much better option. Talk and talk but nothing has gotten better, and more money doesn’t seem to be the answer.

If their concerned are how to help and they want to be part of what they are debating; If, they really are rich or have more money they can just go for the Salvation army and sign for whatever they choose to get their money for funds.
