EV enthusiasts beware, GM has just announced their all-new 0-emission engine that will make electric and internal combustion vehicles obsolete! This all-new radical technology is said to be the next revolution in the automotive world and will drive us towards a completely eco-friendly future of cars! GM has been searching for an alternative to EVs for years now, and their search has led them to the all-new compressed air technology! Compressed air has already been seen to be of limited use in the 19th century, mostly with mine locomotives and trams in some European cities, the most notable of which is Paris. However, the technology has since been dropped and forgotten in favor of internal combustion engines, because of their immediate potency. However, in the early 2010s, the French Car manufacturer, Peugeot, saw the potential in combining compressed air with internal combustion engines into an all-new hybrid technology that retains the eco-friendliness of a regular hybrid, without needing a battery! While these prototypes didn’t really move far from the testing stage, they did spark a fair bit of interest from the rest of the automotive industry, most notably GM.
So, let’s not waste any time and check out this new way of thinking as GM CEO announces This New Engine That Will CHANGE The World!

Water is the "ash" of a hydrogen fire. There's no energy in it. To separate the H from the O you have to put the same energy in that you will get out when you react them.
You could put a compressor on the engine and run it forever 😂
I got to see it to believe it. I guess air will now be 5.00 dollars a pound
No rare metals except iron and steel
Efficiency??? In %. Your video is not exact!!!
It’s ok, for entertainment, but not for knowledge
Oh my fucking god. EV'S DON'T USE ENGINES! THEY USE MOTORS! Engines convert internally crated heat into motion. Motors convert external power (electricity) into motion. No sense going after 30 seconds if you can't get that simple fact correct.
It’s true a air engine when mixed with gasoline is the ultimate power source
GM keeps making promises, one after the other. In recent years none of these promises has worked out. This one probably won't either.
Mart Barra would not recognize anything revolutionary if it landed on her.
A really good air compressor then
Well, well ,well. (:
Let me guess ?
This is federally tax dollars funded..
Wasting our tax dollars in the name of safety and green technology..
I swear to god, i thought of this as a kid converting a gas engine into using compressed air
My idea was make the whole car and engine plastic have a mini hydrogen engine to build up conpressed air and using scoops in the cars body to utilise air pressure by the force of the moving car directed into the engines to help move the pistons as well as the hydrogen compressor feeding in pressurized air
I would create a "turbo charged" version by adding a second or even third hydrogen powered conpressor engines and building specialised wheels with built in fan blades so you can shoot in extra pressurised air into the wheels against the blades when you need extra boost and speed
This technology has been in use 20 years in Australia and India
Even if this engine would exist it wouldn't be able to hold a candle to an Eevee or a gas or even a diesel engine as far as 0 to 60 it would literally be a nuisance on the road😅
I’m confused, do you feed the car with compressed air before you drive? You realize compressors use electricity right? How is that green?
Probably that was originally shown on a TV show That's Incredible around 50 years ago. It was shown of how a custom built vehicle one had developed was running off from compressed air. Finally this technology is making it's way into the spotlight.
You have not addressed the question of what wil compress the air in the tank. If you run compressed air alongside a regular ICE, the ICE can compress the air at high car speeds, like in a HEV.
If you want a purely compressed air vehicle, it has to be charged (compressed) by some external generator, and you'd need to build the infrastructure for that. Even if this generator runs on fossil fuels, it might still be cleaner than an ICE car, because this generator can always run in perfect operating conditions, unlike an ICE in a car.
springs wear out easily!!
Where will they refuel with air from? I heard the word HYBRID. Are they thinking of a small gasoline engine driving a compressor to fill the tanks? That little gas engine emits EMISSIONS. It violates the Zero Emissions order. If this tech was worth a shat, it would be in use today. The world is going electric. Get over your last minute rescue.

How bought we revive the stirling.
Engine nasa already built it.
Low h.p. high torque. And able to use any fuel and go cross country. No where or tear on components…
