Stop spreading lies through issuance of catastrophic predictions. Tariffs that match up to India’s level of it, will not hurt India’s $77 billion exports. Why? Because the US tariffs India at 5% and India tariffs the US at 10%. Trump considers the equalization to be a fair deal which is the US raising theirs to 10%. The American consumers will not even realize the hike in price and India will realize the normal growth in exports to America. But to equalize, if India reduces its tariffs on American imports to 5% then it would be a net reduction in revenue which would be stupid. So, it depends on how India will prefer to equalize.
