Scientific advancement is said to be a threat. This play of words or manipulation by the media is getting too much nowadays. Imagine the reverse position many years back when USA has the cutting edge in technology, would it be appropriate as well to call it a threat ? The hypocrisy and bias media did not describe it as threat. What was is happening again but by different side. One losing side is feeling inferior and unwilling to play catch up. Instead of gearing up, this losing side opt to pull the leading side down, potentially dragging back the leap of scientific advancement by any means possible.
