The US might not overstep the policies of India now but they will intervene later. They will now use India as a pawn to resist the expansionism policy of China. But if India continuously grows enmity with China and Russia, the US will eventually increase its control over India. The US always played a dirty game by instigating fights between two neighboring countries. We can handle China without the support of other countries but we will never be able to fight alone with the US if we are left by Russia and China. If a nuclear war happens between India, China, and Russia, we all will be affected but who will benefit here? It will have no impact on the US because the US is part of a different continent, completely separated from Asia and Europe. We have already seen what the US did in Middle Eastern countries and in Afghanistan and how they manufacture Islamist terrorists. The US will keep identifying Modi as a far radical right-wing force and therefore it will intercept his policies, not now but later.
But Biden can't do much leave alone knowing what foot to put forward. No body will listen to him.

Diplomacy is the word for broadening the philosophy of interests in US politics only that does not meet the need of the world and the stature of the USA as a great power.
Nothing is going to happen if USA puts sanctions on Myanmar because the sanctions will only affect the poors the army leaders will have no effect. They should think something else.
