Justin Trudeau has resigned as leader of Canada’s governing party after nearly a decade as prime minister.

Trudeau said on Monday in a news conference in Ottawa that he will stay on as PM until a new Liberal Party leader is chosen.

He said, “This country deserves a real choice in the next election and it has become clear to me that if I’m having to fight internal battles, I cannot be the best option in that election.”

He also addressed the exit of his former finance minister Chrystia Freeland, which is credited as sparking a renewed pressure from within his party and elsewhere to step down.

  1. He couldn’t leave soon enough… his terrible decision making stretching each day he stays in this post.. hopefully they’ll find a replacement even a child if able who’d make better decisions than this disappointment..

  2. The young man is indeed very handsome. Managed Canada for 10 years. Canada used to have the same GDP per capita as the United States. Now it's only half of America! The United States protects its own auto industry from accidents by raising taxes on cars made in China. Does Canada make cars? Why are he raising taxes so much?😢😢😅

  4. News still lying hard, they’re still trying to make everyone a slave in a one world government. Government still hurting and planning in the dark against its citizens. These people have no shame and do not care for anyone but them selves.

  5. During WWII, my grandfather served as what we would now call "special opps"" i specifically remember him mentioning the toughness of the Canadian troops he encountered. I can only imagine what he'd have to say about the metrosexual pussy who's served as Canada's PM for the past 9 years.

  6. He's run the country into the ground and is now jumping ship to save his ass and fck the citizens,
Everything he did was a disaster for the people, but he lived well and secured his wealth off the backs of the citizens.

  7. I read a letter that was on line a couple of years back from a parliament member who was meeting with the others. He said the plan for Canadians was horrific they planned on putting people in camps that dont go along with their future narratives such as vax shots for various things also said many at that meeting were upset about the plans they have for the citizens, so they were threatened either go along with it and their families will be spared or dont and they will suffer like everyone else. They already had places they built to hold people who dont comply. Hopefully the good people won this round!😮

  8. Goodbye WEF Puppet! Hopefully the Canadian people have woke up and will vote in a true patriot with their best interests at heart.. dont vote Liberal most are graduates of the Young Leaders class at the WEF. You dont want another puppet in there.

  9. Glad he's being forced out finally. But will the next prime minister be just as much of a lobtard puppet as he is, or worse even? This could be a bigger problem than it was before he resigned.
