    The Li Auto CEO is of course trying to big-up LIDAR, because his company have gone all-in with that technology, even though Tesla originally used LIDAR but dropped it in favour of cameras & FSD!
    Li Xiang only argument is that Tesla's cameras can only see 100metres but LIDAR achieves 200m – is not true. Tesla cameras can also see 200m!
    A counter argument is that LIDAR's ability is reduced in fog, rain or snow, whereas FSD is not!
    Finally cameras are MUCH cheaper than LIDAR systems thus enabling cheaper self-driving vehicle prices!
    We shall see in the next 12 months who is going to win this battle!
