Till May 25, 2022, India’s cumulative COVID-19 Vaccination coverage exceeded 192.67 Cr. Not just its own people, but India also started ‘Vaccine Maitri’ and helped other countries with the vaccines. India’s vaccine sufficiency was such that it even exported them to other nations as part of vaccine maitri.
In March 2019, India launched the A-Sat, becoming just the fourth country to be capable of destroying a satellite three hundred kms away in a mere three minutes. Later that year, in July, Chandrayaan-2 was launched.
The country’s first solar mission, is likely to be launched in the third quarter of 2022. ISRO is all set to launch Xposat, India’s second space observatory, this year.
The crowning glory will of course be the Gaganyaan mission – also likely be undertaken by the end of 2022 or in early 2023.
