  1. Stop the racist crap; he got a premium position at Optum Health where he can use his mind.

Mayo wasn’t horrible as a coach. Bottom line.

  2. Mismanagement? I would’ve fired him after his opening press conference… instead of thanking and appreciating the opportunity the team that drafted him and gave him a head coaching position, he decided to rant about racism and woke garbage…. He’s trash……

  3. Remember… Coach Thomas Landry lost FIVE straight seasons before the Dallas Cowboys eventually became America's team…In fact…Coach Landry didn't win his first SB until SB 6…after 12 years on the job…Tom Landry is now on the all- time winning NFL HC list…😮😮😮…

  4. Bill only won 5 games before his first Superbowl win so I agree with theses guys 100 percent. Kraft is not a good person I've never rooted for the Patriots ever in my life.

  5. It’s more than that. Mayo is a racialist and Kraft is a Trumper. Racialism is out of vogue and Kraft feels emboldened. Not surprising Mayo is gone.

  6. Ok… Nobody expected Mayo to do miracles. But this team looked like it didnt even PRACTICE. It was like they just showed up. Thats absolutely coaching. Something like the O-line just clearly hopping offsides week to week, is coaching. (Not even going into the protection) Theyre clearly jumping before the ball ia snapped at the sound of the cadence (because theyre so bad they NEED the advantage) but get called every single week, like its never addressed. Then you take a decent Defense and turn them into sissies in a year.. Cant wait for Vrabel!!

  7. When the team started losing games, they stopped respecting Coach Mayo. We are hearing a lot of rumors about how toxic the atmosphere in the locker room was. None of those players are going to not respect Mike Vrabel. And now they have Josh McDaniels back as their offensive coordinator. The team is automatically going to be better next year.

  8. He wasn't a competent coach. His players didn't have faith in him. He couldn't win when you needed him to — and when you wanted him to lose, he wins. Did that meaninglessness game mean more to the coach than a #1 pick? Should never have been hired in the first place — that was the mismanagement.

Washington was in a similar situation – And they put in COMPETENT people. You can see the difference. The GM needs to go to. Another waste.

  9. He's not mad that he got fired he got mad because he's black and they don't want to fire a black head coach the patriots are not a good team I totally agree and I don't think they should fire them for one year deal but sometimes you have to turn the team around if he can't do that and he shouldn't be keeping his job there's other people out there who could do the job skin color doesn't give you a guaranteed job

  10. What no one is talking about is that the Kraft’s where basically forced to hire Jerod because DEI what at its height and the Boston sports media had already decided that it had to be Jerod Mayo . Well, it backfired . At first it made the Krafts look good until it totally collapsed. I do not blame Jerod , he did what he could and the Krafts didn’t do much to support him in terms of getting some good players. If a DEI hire is in the government or a private company , no problem, they can cover it up but in a sports team you can’t hide the numbers. I like Jerod but I just don’t believe he was ready for this job yet but I think that he has a lot of potential to be a great coach in the NFL in a few years. Thanks.

  11. Yea here’s what these analysts aren’t mentioning:
    -He had multiple media blunders
-mishandling of benching of Stevenson and lying about it
-multiple players coming out essentially saying they aren’t being coached
-watch the tape he handled key red zone or important drives horribly
-Mayo isn’t the next Dungy or belichick
    He LOST the lockeroom

  12. Imagine if the Lions had sacked Dan Campbell after his 1st season with a 3-13-1 record. 1 season ain't gonna do it. I have the feeling they were gonna sack him anyway.

  13. What's crazy is we new or excuse me the smart fans knew we would suck we didn't have more then 20% of the team with talent. And for the idiots out there that think That Mayo lost the locker room prove to me that they have no idea of what it takes to win in the NFL the next HC will struggle heavy with the players because they were riding for the coach. The Kraft's sadly are showing how all those accolades they have received over the years seemed sullyied in the planning after Belichik , smdh.

  14. You don't get the hint yet? Jerod Mayo was not a real HC. He was a fake and he established no team identity or culture, and the whole system was set adrift. The Krafts didn't want to fire him, but they had no choice as the locker room and fans were disintegrating. It was an act of personal courage for them to fire Jerod. It's not something they ever did or wished to do. It was done to face reality that this was a catastrophic hire that could destroy everything.
