  1. I can honestly say I don't suffer from EV buyer's regret at all because I stayed with my ICE. If there's anyone out there who bought an EV and now regrets their purchase then that's their own problem.

  2. In Canada our new dictator, Mark Carney wants 20% of all cars sold in 2026 to be EV’s and 100% by 2035. Canada sucks now, don’t come here unless you want to live in the future North Korea. The electricity supply barely meets requirements today. This is totally impossible. Climate change alarmist are so ignorant. The atmosphere is 0.04% CO2. Without CO2 we all die as plants need CO2. If this drops slightly we could have another ice age. If it climbs to 0.4% the temperature rises but there would be more plant and animal life just like in prehistoric times. Mankind only produces 3% of that 0.04%. This is about taking away freedom and putting everyone under the boot of the globalist.

  3. The trouble with Ev's.
    1. Range anxiety.
    2. Explosion fears.
    3. 60% depreciation.
    4. Elon Musk's connection to Jeffrey Epstein.
    5. Exploited Third World child labor.
    6. They brick in cold weather.
    7. Insanely high insurance rates due to repair costs and the liability of exploding batteries.
    8. Insurance companies writing off ev's in a minor crash.
    9. Ev battery replacement up to $60,000 or more.
    10. Inadequate charging stations powered by diesel generators.
    11. Non eco-friendly emissions in a fire and during the manufacturing process.
    12. Ev's chew thru tires like a drunken sailor.
    13. Tire and brake pollution.
    14. Suspension failure.
    16. Ev's chew thru brakes like a drunken sailor.
    17. Pushed by the WEF.
    18. No ability to charge EV if you live in an apartment.
    19. Having to wait for EV to charge.
    20. Charger point vandalism.
    21. Collapsing electric grid cannot cope.
    22. Lose charge range in cold weather.
    23. If the manufacturer goes out of business, now you have to junk your EV, because it has become worth absolute zero.
    24. Absolute nightmare to put out EV fires.
    25. Electrical, electronic, and software problems will leave you stranded.
    26. Toxic gas vapors from EV explosion will kill you.
    27. Not suitable for road trips.
    28. Rapid battery degradation over time as miles rack up.
    29. Ev's too heavy for crash barriers (guard rails).
    30. All Ev charging is paid for with digital currency.
    31. Copper thieves are targeting EV charging cables and wind turbines.
    32. Ev's are causing double the road damage.
    33. Gaslighting from EV manufacturers is pouring gasoline on the fire of EV rejection.
    34. EV parking bans in parking decks and enclosed parking spaces due to fires.
    35. Swasticars.
    36. EV's are death traps!

  4. What an utter load of shite! All these ‘problems’ are simply you and your paranoia about EV’s. Are you by any chance a petrolhead? BTW, you have your b@ckside sitting on one of the most highly flammable chemicals on the planet. RTA? You might get out without frying but you might not. It’s prat’s like you who still live in the Stone Age.

  5. I’m looking at high performance. My choice being the KIA EV6 GT. I have a gas powered SUV to pull the camper etc. They’re offering up to 15,000 in rebates. My commute to work is only 12 minutes and I can charge it at work. Some good points. Thank You

  6. what I regret about buying an EV, Mr. Dork, is that I didn't, or couldn't buy one much sooner. Inturdnal crapbusted power is for fools, with small exception. Smooth, quiet, quick, responsive, no copious amount of heat fuming from under the hood, no more weekly trios to the filthy, inconvenient petrol station, no oil changes every few months, the list of positives just goes on and on. Ev is a much better driving experience, so you likely never owned one, OR are Paid big bucks by the invested big wigs to try to spread stupidity, which you are well versed at.

  7. Maybe they should've started off with a simple and cheap EV, similar to a glorified golf cart, no software, mechanical switches to turn the systems on and off, and then maybe little by little bring them up to date.
Every time you add another feature, you add another possible failure point.
And how about considering making batteries interchangeable, you stop at a battery station, one battery slides out, another battery slides in and off you go, your old battery gets charged and somebody else gets it later, and so on.

  8. What biased uninformed clap trap
    EV sales are absolutely soaring
Maintenance costs are far lees that gas vehicles , running costs are fractional
Most people charge them from home at night
Here in Australia most free from home solar panels
—- get on the future train fellas, or you’ll be riding a horse saying this Auto fad won’t last 😂😂😂😂

  9. I own an Mercedes E Q S for three and half years and never I will go back to gas engine again never had any problems with the car thirty thousand miles and only one time the need it to take in for service
Don’t need to stop in a service station to fill up to charge it cost me about seven cents a mile for four thousand pound car
I took two thousand mile trip I had no problem finding charges it takes about forty minutes to change
In one day I drove six hundred miles no problem
The car is very quiet and the best car I ever had

  10. With the current problems in new vehicles, it is very easy to see the quality of new vehicles is far worse than two decades ago and all vehicles are far more expensive. EV's are a little more expensive than a cheap car, but cheap new cars are barely available any more. We have a 5.3l V8 with the towing package that I used to pull a trailer to haul a midsize car on. On hills, it got 4 mpg, on flat ground about 9 mpg, so if you are towing you better expect far worse fuel economy, that's just common sense. My (bought new) 2017 BoltEV has been the most dependable car I've ever owned. I can't speak on repair costs because after over 7 years of ownership and 110k miles, I've never needed or paid for any repairs, obviously excluding tires. I see no noticeable difference in tire longevity compared to our Buick Century.
If you want an EV and you have a place to park and charge it, it's a good option. Its initial cost will likely be more but running costs are far lower. If you don't want one, or you live in a place where you can't charge consistently at home, an EV is not for you. I'm not a fan of fear mongering articles about electric vehicles, most are full of half-truths.

  11. I'm a diesel mechanic. Had an ev for 6 and a half years. Only maintenance has been 3 tyres and a set of wiper blades. Battery still at 87%. Does exactly what I brought it for. And has paid for it self in fuel costs allowing for Battery charging cost😊

  12. No they dont.
I will never go back driving to an expensive to run, time consuming, unreliable ICE engine.
Servicing my EV consists of changing the brake fluid every 150,000 miles and topping up the screen wash, nothing else as the brakes last forever, I use regenerative braking which just puts electricity back into the battery, my fuel just costs me £0.014 per mile or if the sun is shining £0.00.
I have been driving EV's (I have 2) for over 7 years and the only thing I have bought is a new tyre due to a pot hole damage.
I have a 2019 M3 Performance and 2020 M3 LR. The LR has had a new rear tail light which was fitted free under warranty due to condensation build up but an Tesla engineer came to my house and replaced it.

  13. Rubbish! 92% of EV buyers would buy another EV! There are Tesla's with 400k miles on batteries and still going. The maintenance on my EV for the first 150k miles is rotate the tires and change the cabin filter.

And guess what? Those apps are in all cars EV's and ICE vehicles.

ICE catch fire 3 times as often as EV's.

The only people who have range anxiety are people who don't own EV's, I don't have and never have!

  14. The reason Petrol/diesel has dominated over these last 100 years or so is because it is more efficient and reliable than electricity. The battery technology has a long way to go before it is anywhere near being comparable to fossil fuelled driven vehicles.

  15. Thermobaric explosive device in your garage? Doors can’t be unlocked when the firebomb goes off trapping the occupants! Real buyer remorse all that money for a death trap? Elon Musk is laughing at all the EV Losers & Suckers.

  16. The winter in the Chicago area was very mild. So far only 2 inches total of light fluffy. Temperatures were mild compared to previous years. Then we had a true Chicago winter. Temperatures played with 0 F. for 5 days.
When I heard the prediction. I took my 2023 Ford Mustang Mach -E to a "AE" Charging station. I charged it to 80%. It sat in my garage for 5 days. I had a doctors appointment. It was a 0 F morning. I pressed the start button. The charges graph and mileage predictor. Show I had ZERO charge and 5 miles predicted.

  17. When it comes to cars and trucks , I would never buy electric.
All batteries, run down in Time. And time to charge , and so on .
What if a person who owns EV and began to charge , just then emergency situation rises ? Asking ng someone for ride ?
Gas is only option for cars . And trucks . I would be cautious… I am checking on cons , on owning EV
