  1. I hope they invent something new instead of copying. Name one latest technological device which China created on its own. Everything you use now are because of scientists in the US or Western Countries. Electricity and Electrical appliances, Internet, Wireless Communication, Mobile, Computer, Operating Systems, Networking, Artificial Intelligence and many more technologival innovations happened in US and other Western Countries.China just copied it in a good way. That's talent too. Don't overhype China as a creator of major technological breakthroughs in human history. In the same way, we Indians should also feel bad of our situation right now. We didn't even have any many major technological breakthroughs in recent history. Accept it or not, US and European countries are the real creators of every major technological innovations that we use now. I talked about all this because she is proud of her country's innovation which is not actually the innovation of China. China is the best example of adaptation of technology. There is a difference between creating and following. I hope you got it.

  2. China is not a open country and it is ruled by autocracy.

I am really ok to share my data to USA than China.

People who know China will understand this better.

For a regular user it doesn't make any difference.

  3. In the U.S., social media services search engines e commerce, etc created a virtual monopoly, where they can control what you see and how you get your information unchecked. In China, the govt intentionally keeps competition flowing, so for every service or social media platform there is at least one competitor if not dozens. Because of this competition, there’s both innovation and choice. And the govt also has more control because anyone at anytime can be replaced by their competitors if they step out of line. When they first banned these American services I was aghast, but as the Chinese ecosystem got built, I realized I can still access anything I want through VPNs but the difference was Chinese services just got better and better. Now I go onto the U.S. search engines and social media and realize how their dominance has made them backward and corrupt. And the damage that has done to the world in general. I think every country should have some sort of national alternative. One that won’t let multinational corporations be their only source.
