Earlier on Monday, India launched a new space mission from the launchpad of the Sriharikota spaceport. The mission, called SpaDeX or Space Docking Experiment, is a stepping-stone in India’s bid to become a space superpower. Onboard are two satellites that will be used to test new docking technology. Perfecting the difficult maneuver is vital to India’s upcoming missions. It hopes to bring a sample from the Moon back to Earth. India wants to have its own space station in orbit by 2035.

Rendezvous and docking are two critical steps in spaceflight that involve bringing two spacecraft together. and has been the Basics done many times in 1965 onwards , apollo missions onwards . Today with the money India's ISRO dows spends , amateurs can do those as well. Amateurs will not allowed to do them , because rocketry is also closely tied to missile launches . So be knowledgeable about all that. If permitted and if funded I could very well demonstrate Rendezvous and docking in space of 2 or more cubesats .
