An excellent summary of the field of quantum computing. Find out more about Qiskit at and their YouTube channel

With this video I aim to give a really good overview of the field of quantum computing with a clear explanation of how they work, why people are excited about quantum algorithms and their value, the potential applications of quantum computers including quantum simulation, artificial intelligence and more, and the different models and physical implementations people are using to build quantum computers like superconducting devices, quantum dots, trapped ions, photons or neutral atoms, and the challenges they face.

  1. This is extremely useful? Could you also cover how these are physically implemented? I have seen that many ppl cover the quantum processors only but actually making it requires a lot of other hardware which could be completely different depending on the type of qubit.

  2. In the video you mentioned that you worked in the field. How do you see the business side of Quantum Computing nowadays? What the companies and government are trying to achieve? Do you think the field moving towards a specific direction? Thanks for the video, it is still relevant 3 years later!

  3. About 11:33 i would like to add a small correction because, due to the axioms of quantum mechanics, quantum computers are actually LESS computationally capable than classical ones. A quantum computer (by that i mean a quantum circuit) on its own is not turing-complete, it needs the aid of a classical part to help it get there

Also at 17:00 you say that the qubits starts as entangled but that's usually not the case. As you show in the circuit diagram soon after the canonical starting state is just a bunch of independent qubits in the |0> state. You can create entanglement through quantum gates in the circuit if you need it

  4. Have you measured the Quantum Topology in connect to another Environmental topology? Quantum Networks at 2 states would that create a string effect independent of any present time environment of hawak kamay like song with energy body outlines of silver surfer like states to states?

  5. Seeing this after 3 years now, It was overwhelming, but I think I will just watch this video 2 more times and I will that 0.1% population who understands Quantum computing
