In today’s #AakashVani let’s take a look at Virat Kohli and just how deep his poor form goes. I look at his last 5 years to get a clear picture of his ‘bad patch’. Do you think he can turn his Test career around in 2025?

  1. Please make a similar analysis of K.L Rahul on his entire career. Because it is a mystery to me, as to how a batter, who averages 33.00 after 55 tests over a period of 10 years continues to play for Team India.

  2. I think if they cannot drop Kohli for whatever reason, drop him down the order. Ask him to bat at 5 or 6. He has clearly struggled to setup the game at 4. Let someone new cement their career at 4.

  3. Kohli once a cricketer on way to become a legend..wt centuries, good performance.. but after marriage succesfully converted as bollywood actor..by six pack , PR , too many Ads.. leaving india

  4. IPL is killing test cricket, so sad to see, kachra audience love watching lappa shots of t20 cricket, but the holy form of cricket "TESTS" audience are the real cricket lovers and it's so sad to see bcci and players are prioritising IPL but not tests 💔

  5. Indeed, Virat Kohli is undoubtedly one of the greatest, but we must acknowledge that he went through a challenging phase when certain decision-makers unfairly labeled him as a failed captain. His captaincy was taken away overnight, his personal space was invaded, and internal politics disrupted the team environment. While it’s true that a transition is necessary to give youngsters an opportunity, we should never overlook the legacy Virat has built. He remains one of the finest cricketers our country has had since the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.

Even Sachin went through a rough patch in his career, but he was supported through it because he was being judged by his own high standards. Virat deserves the same respect for everything he has contributed to Indian cricket.

It’s also important to note that during Sachin’s era and that of other legends, there wasn’t as much technological analysis or the presence of social media to constantly troll and criticize cricketers. Virat has just helped us win the T20 World Cup, and I believe he deserves our support as we head into the World Test Championship.
